PlayStation Plus lineup for October 2021 officially revealed

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The leak from earlier this week was spot on about the PlayStation Plus games for October 2021. We are getting Hell Let Loose for PS5, as well as Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21 for PS4. Are you a fan of this month's offerings?

Hell Let Loose (PS5)

WWII shooter that is hardy in approach and mighty in graphics? That sounds like a good time. Hell Let Loose has been out for a while on PC, but has recently been in beta on console. We are talking 100-player battles over here, with special abilities and "dynamic frontlines." Just like in real life! A good one to have as a day and date, we think this will keep you playing for a long time.

PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4)

PGA Tour 2K21 is golf but, like, the professional stuff. Not like Golf with your Friends, Everybody's Golf, or Mario Golf. Unfortunately, that is where all our collective knowledge about golf comes from, so our guess is you have to get a small white ball into an equally small hole. What we do know is that there are customisable tournaments and some mad multiplayer options. Will you be playing?

Mortal Kombat X (PS4)

Mortal Kombat X is a thoughtful art piece about ripping the small intestine from a series of muscular creatures. You will learn about yourself on the way... like which human organs taste good? Or which bones crunch best? Likewise, you will explore some glorious landscapes, like hell. It's fun for the kids and they might even learn a thing or two. As a side note, unrelated to our (serious and thoughtful) write up, it is infuriating that this isn't the XL version of the game and that MKX is already included in the PlayStation Plus Collection on PS5. But free is free, we guess.

Well, well, well. It seems our wishlist was for nought! A shame really. Do you guys like this lineup? What would be your ideal one? Let us know in the comments and we will see you in there!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
