The TT Wishlist: PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for October

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Hello! Welcome to the TT PlayStation Plus monthly lineup wishlist for October. We are a bit late with this one, it seems the leak has already spoiled all the shooting, fighting, and golfing we will be doing next month. However, these are just for fun, so why not give it a blast anyway?

So, here is one PS5 game and two PS4 games that could be part of the PlayStation monthly service for October. These are half-educated guesses and half-fantasy, things that we could see happen and want to happen at the same time. Naturally, we would ask that you leave your own guess below and we will try and incorporate it in future! So, here we go!

JETT: The Far Shore (PS5)

We think that JETT: The Far Shore looks fantastic. The non-violent walking sim will see us searching for humanity's new home by flying a spaceship and walking around new planets. Instead of fighting new rogue species, you will be running away for your life. So, why could it have appeared on the service? Well, the game is releasing on October 5th, the day the game releases. It offers a chance for the game to pick up player counts immediately and the team get a fee to help cover development costs immediately. To be honest, we just want to space and chill this October!

The Persistance (PS4)

For the obligatory horror pick, we have stumped for the former-VR exclusive game The Persistence. As a clone of a space mechanic, you have to roam a ship that is being sucked ever closer to a blackhole and unravel the haunting mystery of why the ship is in this precarious situation. The main reason we have thrown this on the list is that developer Firesprite is now owned by Sony, meaning there would be no upfront cost to popping this in the lineup. Also, giving VR gamers and normal gamers something altogether freaky to play through is in the requirement for most October lineups, so it would've just made sense!

OXENFREE (PS4)

The sci-fi mystery of OXENFREE with supernatural intonations was too perfect to fly by. Stuck on a creepy island, this 2.5D adventure game is all about the talking as Alex (you) and her friends try and figure out just what is going on. Again, this is on here because we fancy sitting back as the wind howls and the rain lashes outside, while we play in our comfortable gaming hovels drinking hot chocolate.

With those leaks, all of this looks very unlikely. But we had fun anyway! Did you? Would any of these be on your wishlist? What would you have instead? Let us know down below!
