Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a fab game, but a few glitches started becoming prevalent after release to the public. While Kes didn't encounter any of these specific issues during his 8/10 review of the game, a few TT members commented letting us know that there was indeed a glitch that would jam poor spirit guide, Kena, into her spirit mask permanently. This would basically leave you stuck, as you cannot move in the spirit world, possibly for fear of tripping over something. Don't walk and mask, guys.

In addition, there was an issue with activities in the PS5 control menu that would overwrite save files. This feature has been removed until further notice. Here are the patch notes for 1.05 in full from the Ember Lab website:

Patch Notes – 1.05

  • Enabled photo mode when sitting with the Rot.
  • Increased maximum camera sensitivity.
  • Fixed bug that locked player into the Spirit Mask mode.
  • Fixed progression blocker after combat in Taro’s Tree region.
  • Fixed progression blocker after receiving the Bow Ability.
  • Fixed progression blocker after Adira Hammer Relic and the objective marker not disappearing after completion.
  • Fixed progression blocker on Warrior Path.
  • The “Resume Game” feature for PS5 Activities has been temporarily disabled to prevent overwriting autosaves. This feature will be re-implemented in a future patch.
  • Fixed minor visual, collision, and audio bugs.
So, good news for you lot! Have you been enjoying Kena? Let us know in the comments.
