Life is Strange Remastered Collection pushed to 2022

The Life is Strange Remastered Collection is being pushed from this year to 2022 "due to ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic," developers Deck Nine have announced.

With an initial release date of September 30th, just after the scheduled launch of the sequel Life is Strange: True Colors, the game was looking to be a welcome introduction to the colder months. However, that date has now been pushed back to 2022. Worry not! Instead, on September 30th Deck Nine will instead release the Wavelengths story DLC for True Colors, which features a fan-favourite character, Steph Gingrich. Apparently, a trailer for the additional content will come later today.

"However, due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection," says Deck Nine. "For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection for all platforms — PC, Playstation, Xbox, Stadia, and Switch — until early 2022. We hope you understand."

So, Life is Strange Remaster Collection is now marked for 2022, and True Colors for September 10th with DLC on the 30th. Is this disappointing? Or were you just waiting for the next instalment? Let us know in the comments!
