Overcooked! All You Can Eat gifts players free content in birthday update

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Overcooked has been out for five years. To celebrate, Team17 is bringing the ingredients for the cake in a free update for Overcooked! All You Can Eat. The update adds new kitchens, a new chef, and a new recipe!

With five more kitchens to potter around with the new tabby cat chef while making cups of tea with a fresh recipe, there will also be a "switcheroo mechanic" added into the mixer. The developers add that we will "head back to the Onion Kingdom and celebrate five years of Overcooked in this rather special celebratory update!"

The All You Can Eat version of the game combines the original and the sequel, alongside all the DLC in a remasted edition. Of course, this adds the customary fresh trophy list alongside quality of life updates like assist mode and better accessibility options.

Overcooked! All You Can Eat's birthday update is available for free on PS4 and PS5. How are your friendships holding up? Are you secure enough to slide back into the kitchen? Put your icing on the cake in the comments!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
