By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
PlayStation has confirmed the August lineup for its game streaming service PlayStation Now. The new games include indie darling Undertale, smash-hit Nier: Automata, and cyberpunk slasher-platformer Ghostrunner.

The announcement was made on the PlayStation Blog earlier today. The games will be available to download from August 3rd, but each has a different leave date.

Nier: Automata

Available until November 1st, Nier: Automata was a GOTY contender in 2017. The genre-bending action game is incredibly anime, but also incredibly fun and deep. Android war? Check. Dystopian? Check. Wild combat? Check. Multiple playthroughs are the only way to see the true ending, and with solid combat and RPG mechanics, you certainly won't be stopping once you have started. With PlatinumGames at the helm, trust that you will have plenty of fun in this strange world.

The smallest of the three games on offer might also be the one that punches highest above its indie weight. This is an RPG that is all about morals. Do you play violently or non-violently? What outcome does that beget you? The platinum is easy enough, too. Check this one out if you want your mind dragged around all over the gaff with all that decision making.

Ghostrunner is a mess. The best kind of a mess. Bloody, brutal, and fast, this cyberpunk first-person parkour action-adventure (literally) bleeds influence from Mirror's Edge and author William Gibson. The game is supposed to be all about mobility and how you use a 'monomolecular' katana. The addition to Now might make a few of us on the team check it out!

What do you think of this selection? Is this something that might get you to subscribe to PlayStation Now? Or will you be passing it up? If you have played any of the games, let us know in the comments, and we will see you there!
