Port Royale 4 gets extensive PS5 update in September

Port Royale 4 is getting a PS5 update on September 10th that brings brand new features to the shores of the 17th-century economy-sim. 4K resolution, better weather systems, and plenty more lie ahead, captain!

Port Royale is all about the money you can spin in the 17th century Caribbean. With the British, Spanish, French, and Dutch all mixed up in a trade war over the tropical isles, your buccaneering spirit will prevail! In September, developer Kalypso Media is raising the anchor on PS5 features. The frames rate of 30 remains, though now it will all be in that precious 4k resolution. Realistic weather systems will bring a bit of bristle to your escapades just like the shipwreck of the Urca de Lima in 1715. With additional lighting effects, storms like the one that toppled the aforementioned Spanish treasure fleet will truly be more grisly.
