PlayStation Plus August free monthly games leaked on Sony website

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The free games for PS+ users have been leaked for the month of August from a very trustworthy source, Sony itself. Three games are seemingly on the cards and it looks like a very different lineup to last month.

The leak for the August lineup game from Sony itself over the weekend, which literally just uploaded the page for the games included early on PlayStation's official website. While the site has since been updated to remove this, the fabulous PushSquare team was on the buzzer and caught the evidence included in the screenshot above.

That means it is incredibly likely that on August 3rd, we will be able to play Hunter's Arena: Legends, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, and Tennis World Tour 2. The first of the three is the PS5 game of the month and is launching day and date on the service. It is a battle-royale fighting-game hybrid that looks really quite bizarre. Battle for Neighborville is the third game in the third-person shooter PvZ series that continues to do good numbers for EA. However, if it is on the PS+ list, that might mean the game needs a little boost in player count nearly two years into its lifecycle. The Tennis World Tour 2 inclusion seems to be a slightly ill times attempt to get in on the Wimbledon wagon, but we are sure it'll appeal to some of you out there.

What do you think? Is this a rumoured lineup that excites you? Anything taking your fancy? Let us know in the comments!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
