resident evil reverse release date

Over on Twitter, Capcom says, "The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding." In a comment below, the devs add that anyone who bought the physical copy should either redeem the code for Resident Evil Re:Verse now, or else ensure it's kept in a safe place until next year.

Re:Verse will have us playing as iconic characters like Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield in six-player deathmatches. If you're defeated, you'll come back as a bioweapon like Nemesis, and can have a go at hunting the player who took you out. Re:Verse is now set to launch some time in 2022. We'll keep an eye out and be sure to update you when Capcom confirms a specific release date.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
