Cyberpunk 2077 returns to PlayStation Store [updated]

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Both PlayStation and CD Projekt highly recommend that you play Cyberpunk 2077 on Pro or PS5 because the PS4 version is still not exactly in the best state.

The CD Projekt tweet also confirms that the Polish company are targeting the end of this year for the next-gen version and that you won't have to pay a thing for that upgrade.

Original Story:
CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store after a long six-month hiatus.

After all the reports last week, Sony and CD Projekt have put the game back up on the store. That being said, the game isn't entirely bug-free and crashes on occasion. So this can't have been an act of store curation and was more likely to do with the refund policy that CD Projekt forced on Sony. We know a next-gen edition is due at the end of the year that will have all the current updates along with a graphical overhaul. The game still chugs on base PS4, so Sony recommends you play on Pro or PS5. The game is available now.

Will you be picking up the game? Maybe you are waiting for the next-gen version? Let us know in the comments!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
