More Back 4 Blood shown at Xbox E3 conference

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
WB Games and Microsoft teamed up at the Xbox press conference to show more Back 4 Blood — the upcoming Turtle Rock zombie co-op game — which will launch on October 12th.

In the new trailer, we see some of the classic Left 4 Dead-style zombie-slaying action, but with added helicopter introductions and a slightly more obvious sense of humour. Along with a few glimpses of weapons — one of the characters gets a axe kill after jumping from about 50 feet in the air — the zombies were definitely the focus.

The game will be a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass, accompanying the reveal that A Plague Tale: Innocence's sequel — Requiem — will also launch into Game Pass.

Back 4 Blood is coming to PS4 and PS5 on October 12th. Are you excited? Have you played the Left 4 Dead games? Get talking down below!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
