Ubisoft announced its new open-world first-person action-adventure game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, with a new trailer confirming a 2022 launch window. Check out the trailer below.

The game looks to build on James Cameron's successful movie and incoming franchise set in a faraway galaxy. The cinematic trailer has some strong echoes of Far Cry, though the game is built on a new Ubi engine. "Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open-world experience," Ubisoft says. "In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it."

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora launches for PS5 in 2022. Does this make your tail connect with the plants around you? Let us know down below!
