Kung-fu game Sifu gets gameplay trailer at E3 2021

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Sloclap-developed kung-fu game Sifu received a new trailer at IGN Expo for E3 2021. The game is "coming soon" to PS4 and PS5.

The game is described by the developers as a "third-person action game featuring intense hand-to-hand combat. It puts you in control of a young Kung-fu student on a path of revenge." The trailer above really displays the combat in its best light. The student goes into a nightclub and just slams some fools into next week. Then a boss lady enters the dancefloor, flinging her feet around in ways that would definitely not be kosher on a Saturday night boogie. It all looks seriously slick, but you wouldn't expect anything less out of the studio behind Absolver. The previous trailer suggested that every time you die in Sifu, your character would get a little older.

Are you getting your mind and body ready for Sifu? I wonder what that trophy list will be like? Punch and kick your way into the comments down below!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
