Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina's Wonderlands announced at Summer Game Fest

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Gearbox's Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has had a world premier at Summer Game Fest. The D&D-inspired spin-off was shown in a wild trailer, prepping players for a new brand of Borderlands craziness.

The spin-off will feature voice work from Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, and Ashly Burch, and will take place in a fantasy land filled with dragons, heroes, and a Butt Stallion unicorn. I'm looking at the trailer again and I can confirm that is exactly what it said, and I don't know how I feel about it. Please let me know about your own feelings in the comments and maybe we can make a joint effort at working out our reaction. What I do know, however, is that if you enjoyed Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC, you're going to love this! Apparently be able to customise your own character in ways never seen before in a Gearbox game. Pirate costume, please.

Unfortunately, the surprise slipped from beneath the curtain last week when 2K's showcase was leaked online. The game still exists, though, so excitement shouldn't wane!

Is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands going to rope you in? Unicorn feelings? Please help me in the comments.

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
