WB Games E3 conference won't feature Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, or Suicide Squad

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
WB Games' E3 2021 press conference will not feature three major games: Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The only game featured will be Back 4 Blood.

Hogwarts Legacy PS4 and PS5

A Warner Bros. spokesperson has spoken to TechRadar about the press conference and said that only one game will be shown: TurtleRock's co-op zombie-slaying game Back 4 Blood. The conference is on Sunday, but doesn't yet have a confirmed time. The Summer Game Fest Twitter account confirmed the news and also that that the only game was going to be Back 4 Blood.

This means that Hogwarts Legacy, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Gotham Knights won't be shown despite being primed for launch in 2022. We have seen gameplay of Gotham Knights, but Hogwarts Legacy and Suicide Squad have been very quiet since their reveals. The games might still appear in a different part of the E3 weekend, but remain sceptical until you are literally watching a wizard turn transfigure into a mongoose and Harley Quinn laying waste to Metropolis with a baseball bat.

Were you excited for these games or is this a bit of nothing about nothing? Let me keep tabs on you in the comments.

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
