Painting adventure Chicory: A Colourful Tale launches in June

By Heidi Nicholas,
Chicory: A Colourful Tale, the next game from Wandersong creator Greg Lobanov, has just been given a June release date, confirming we'll be able to paint Picnic Province in just a few weeks on June 10th.

In Chicory: A Colourful Tale, we'll be wielding the magic paintbrush which once belonged to Chicory themselves. When Chicory went missing, all the colour in Picnic Province disappeared too. Over on the Chicory site, we're told that we'll be using "the power of art to explore, solve puzzles, help your animal friends and restore colour to the world in this top-down adventure game."

According to the PlayStation Store, Chicory: A Colourful Tale has at least ten hours of gameplay, but judging from the side quests, "including mail delivery, art classes, photo taking, and more," we'll likely be investing a fair few hours more just soaking up the world of Picnic Province.

Chicory: A Colourful Tale launches in two weeks on June 10th for PS5 and PS4.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
