The latest trailer for Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown is linked rather than embedded because it is age-gated. The trailer emphasises the story of Steeltown and the weird folks that live there. The place keeps the Patriarch in control, however: Colorado produces vehicles, robots, and weaponry. New drama strikes as the weapons stop leaving the plant, but Abigail Markham can only provide excuses. But it gets worse for Patriarch: the workers are causing havoc, bandits are raiding, and the complex has to be completely closed. Rise up against the patriarchy, folks. Your steel factory chums need you!

The period even gets a grand name as alluded to in the name of the expansion: The Battle of Steeltown. The expansion allows for both solo and co-op play as you uncover the mysteries of the Steeltown. New robot enemies are inbound, alongside new combat mechanics to be used in challenge modes. There is a suite of new skills, too. Telegraphed attacks, status effect stacking, elemental shields, and non-lethal weaponry are all there. Steeltown is level-scaled, so everybody can enjoy the story without being hammered into the floor and mercilessly mocked by your mates. Though, in fairness, your mates might still mock you regardless of difficulty. Steeltown is just the start. New enemies, armour, weapons, and world map encounters will join the base-game alongside a return for original composers Mary Ramos and Mark Morgan with an old-school score.

The Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown is out on June 3rd. Will we be seeing you in Steeltown? Let us know down below!
