PlayStation Plus games lineup for June confirmed [updated]

Update 2:
Sony has now confirmed that the PS+ leak from earlier in the week was indeed correct: PlayStation Plus members will be able to grab Star Wars: Squadrons, Operation: Tango, and a brand new version of Virtua Fighter 5, starting June 1st.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown has now been officially announced, arriving as a PS4 exclusive next Tuesday, June 1st. Given that's the same day we'd expect the next batch of Plus games to arrive, this leak just got that much more believable. Check out the reveal trailer here:

The PlayStation Plus games for June have been leaked on reliable Spanish website areajugones. The lineup apparently includes an as of yet unreleased version of Virtua Fighter, as well as Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango.

Last month, the outlet correctly leaked last months lineup of PS+ games and confirmed the existence of new controller colours: Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. As for this month, the website claims that three games are coming— Star Wars: Squadrons, Operation: Tango, and a new edition of Virtua Fighter 5 apparently called Ultimate Showdown.

The first of the games, Squadrons, is an EA Motive-developed first-person starfighter pilot game set in the Star Wars Universe. The second, Operation: Tango, is a co-op puzzler in the vein of A Way Out. The third is an as of yet unannounced version of Sega's Virtua Fighter 5 which was first ported over to consoles back on PS3. The Ultimate Showdown version is expected to be announced on an eSports livestream to signal the company's return to the competitive fighter scene.
