Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gets new story details and gameplay trailer

Insomniac has blessed us with a new gameplay trailer for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, plus new story details and info on the Digital Deluxe Edition bonuses. Check out the gameplay trailer below:

First up, we found out that the new female Lombax is named Rivet. According to the PlayStation Blog post from Insomniac's creative director Marcus Smith, Rivet is "a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension, where the evil Emperor Nefarious hunts all those who oppose him." We also caught a glimpse of new location Nefarious City, as well as "alternate-dimension twists" on Sargasso and Torren IV.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Digital Deluxe Edition

Along with the trailer, Insomniac also revealed the five armour suits you get if you buy the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game: the Imperial, Scavenger, Android, Rebel, and Hacker suits. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still well over a month away from its June 11th release date, but we'll find out more about the game with PlayStation's next State of Play on April 29th at 2pm PT / 5pm ET, along with 15 minutes of gameplay.
