Judgment announcement coming May 7th from Yakuza dev

Sega and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are teasing a Judgment announcement with a countdown timer that's set to end on May 7th.

The timer, which apparently started counting down on the same day as the launch of the Judgment PS5 remaster (thanks, NME), officially ends on May 7th (or "Judgment Day" as Sega is calling it) at 7am PST / 3pm BST. A broadcast is also scheduled to begin at the same time on Sega America's YouTube channel.

The announcement could be related to the term "Lost Judgment," which is a name that Sega recently trademarked, as spotted by Chizai Watch via All Games Delta.)

We'll find out more on whatever Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are teasing on "Judgment Day" on May 7th at 7am PST / 3pm BST.
