PlayStation Gameplay Chart: Cyberpunk 2077 re-enters the top 40 following Patch 1.2

By Sean Carey,
This week's PlayStation Gameplay chart sees the majority of games offered with Sony's Play at Home scheme holding steady, a return to the top 40 from Cyberpunk 2077, and Square Enix's new RPG-shooter Outriders makes its first appearance. Here is the top 40 PlayStation Gameplay Chart for the week ending April 5th, 2021.

Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 583,000 active PlayStation accounts. Chart information is copyright TrueGaming Network.
Subnautica, Enter the Gungeon, Abzu, Thumper, and The Witness — all games included with Sony's Play at Home scheme — are all floating around the same spots they debuted in last week's chart. Surprisingly, Subnautica has managed to disrupt the somewhat static top ten, jumping two spots from 10th to 8th, knocking down Minecraft and Fall Guys a peg or two.

Towards the middle of the table, Ratchet & Clank — another free game previously included with Play at Home — is still climbing the table (likely down to a 60fps update for the game) and has moved up six places from 26th to 20th. Cyberpunk 2077 has also re-entered the chart in 24th place following a big update that saw numerous issues fixed. Curiously, Cyberpunk 2077 also re-entered TA's Xbox Gameplay Chart in the 24th spot.

Square Enix's Outriders debuts in our PlayStation Gameplay Chart in 26th place, which is a damn lot lower when compared to the game's standing in TA's Xbox Gameplay Chart. Thanks to Outriders being included with Xbox Game Pass, the RPG-shooter has managed to upset the Xbox chart's usual top five storming its way into 5th place.

This week sees the release of Oddworld: Soulstorm, a game we expect to see included in next week's chart, thanks to it being one of April's free PlayStation Plus games. For that reason, Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War could also feature.
