Wreckfest gets PS5 upgrade on June 1st

Wreckfest is receiving a PS5 upgrade on June 1st, bringing visual enhancements and larger multiplayer lobbies.

THQ Nordic revealed today that Wreckfest will be available for PS5 users from June 1st. The upgraded version brings 4K/60fps, 24-player online play, and a plethora of visual enhancements that include:

Faster loading times
DualSense haptic feedback effects
Higher resolution textures
Improved shadows, environmental lighting, and particles
Increased foliage
Dynamic dirt on vehicles
Godrays
Better skid mark visual effects

The full Wreckfest PS5 edition will cost £34.99/$39.99/€39.00, while users of the PS4 version of the game can upgrade for $9.99/€9.99. No information about the UK price of the upgrade has been given at this time.
