Next Life is Strange game to be announced during Square Enix event next week

The next entry into the Life is Strange series will be revealed in a new digital showcase next week. Square Enix Presents takes place on March 18th and will feature updates, trailers, and announcements on upcoming games from the publisher.

The live stream is expected to last around 40 minutes, with the headline act being a world premiere of a new Life is Strange title. Square Enix says we'll get a first look at an "all-new protagonist" who can wield an "exciting new power." The event will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider, which means we could hear more on that Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy that leaked via the Microsoft Store earlier this week.

According to the publisher, this is the first in a series of events taking place throughout the year.

Square Enix Presents takes place on March 18th at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm GMT and can be watched live over on Square Enix's YouTube and Twitch channels.
