Dirt 5 update 3.00 fixes broken PS5 trophies, should now all unlock correctly

By Sean Carey,
Dirt 5's newest update is pulling off from the starting line and rolling out to players now. Update 3.00 fixes the game's broken trophies and gifts those with the Amplified or Year One upgrade editions of the game some free content.

According to the latest patch notes, update 3.00 includes "multiple fixes for trophies not triggering as designed" on PS5. Not much else is said in the patch notes regarding what trophies have actually been fixed, but if you've run into unlocking issues in the past, now is the time to jump back into Dirt 5.

For those that own the Amplified Edition or Year One upgrade, you will have The Energy Content Pack waiting for you. The pack includes four new cars, including the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Alpine A110 Sports X, and the GMC Sierra Pre-Runner. Also included, and this is for all players, is an update to Junkyard Playgrounds, which gives you access to over 20 new themed Playgrounds items to use in Create mode, a few new liveries, and a new Playground location set in Italy, while the level cap has been increased to 120.

Update 3.00 makes numerous bug fixes, including "fixes and improvements to address reports of frame rate drops and stutters" across all visual modes, as well as other quality of life changes. You can view the full list of changes on the Dirt website.

The update is available to download for both PS4 and PS5 versions of the game now.
