Control Ultimate Edition on PS5 supports 60fps and DualSense controller functionality

By Sean Carey,
Remedy Entertainment has now outlined Control: Ultimate Edition's next-gen enhancements. On PlayStation 5 you can expect a Performance and Graphics mode, DualSense support, and Activity Cards.

A support page for Control Ultimate Edition notes that on PlayStation 5, there are two modes to choose from: Performance and Graphics. In Performance mode, the game targets 60fps rendered at 1440p and upscaled to 4K. In Graphics mode, ray tracing is enabled, but you will be limited to 30fps rendered at 1440p and upscaled to 4K.

The support page also says that Control Ultimate Edition will support the PS5's DualSense controller with "support for vibrations and triggers." You'll also be able to make use of the PS5's Activities feature with "cards and videos that help guide you through the game, and keep track of your progress."

Control Ultimate Edition launches next week on February 2nd and is included in February's free PlayStation Plus games.
