Ubisoft has updated the list of AC Valhalla known issues to be fixed in a future update

By Heidi Nicholas,
Ubisoft has again updated the list of known issues for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, outlining which will be fixed in an upcoming update. Two hotfixes have also gone live, which should sort the bugs in both the Carrying the Torch and The Odour at the Tithe quests.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

A bug in Carrying the Torch meant you couldn't interact with a key character after completing the quest, while The Odour at the Tithe had an issue where you couldn't move the shelves. These should be fixed with the game's most recent hotfixes. To make the hotfixes active, create a manual save, close and relaunch the game, and then load the new save.

There's also good news for any players who have been having issues with the fish spawning bug, as this should be fixed in an upcoming update, meaning fish should spawn correctly at coasts and in the ocean again. The update should also sort the Fishmonger quest, as well as a A Cruel Destiny, and the issue where you can't find fabric or complete Dobby's Altar. The problems with lip syncing and mouth movement during dialogues, which have persisted ever since Title Update 1.1.1 was released, should also be fixed.

The list of issues still under investigation is mostly made up of quests, including A Brother's Keeper, Taken for Granted, The Seas of Fate, A Rivalry for the Ages, A Sword-Shower in Anecastre, and many more. Ubisoft is also still looking into the problem with missing fish, such as the large Flatfish and Mackerel and the small Halibut and Sturgeon, as well as multiple issues with Ubisoft Connect challenges.

We'll update you when Ubisoft releases another patch for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
