Dirt 5 update 2.00 to fix bugged PS5 trophies

By Sean Carey,
If you've been having issues with trophies not unlocking in the PS5 version of Dirt 5, you're in luck. Dirt 5's next big update will patch numerous bugs, add further wheel support, and fix those trophy unlock problems some players have been facing.

Dirt 5

Several trophies in the PlayStation 5 version of Dirt 5 don't seem to be unlocking or tracking correctly. Superstardom, No Event Left Behind, Checks and Balances, Practice Makes Perfect, Dirt Legend, and Spare Some Change for Gas? have not been unlocked by a single player here on TrueTrophies. When compared to the PlayStation 4 version, we see plenty of players with those trophies.

According to Codemasters, update 2.00 will fix these trophy problems, with trophies unlocking retroactively for players who have already met requirements.

Aside from trophy fixes, the patch will add wheel support for various steering wheels, improve fps performance in Image Quality mode on PS4, fix numerous bugs and stability issues, and more. You can check out the full list of patch notes over on the Dirt 5 website.

Codemasters hasn't given a date for when update 2.00 will roll out, but we expect it to hit consoles soon.
