CD Projekt Red debuts the final Night City Wire episode with a new gameplay trailer

By Brittany Vincent,
With only a couple of weeks left to go until Cyberpunk 2077 officially debuts, CD Projekt RED debuted the final official Night City Wire livestream.

Night City Wire Episode 5 debuted alongside the official Johnny Silverhand trailer and some other important titbits the developer showcased during the chat.

The official gameplay trailer is finally here, for one, showcasing five minutes of previously unseen character interactions, shootouts, and intriguing information about in-game factions as well as protagonist V's intentions and objectives. There was also a look at some of the side tasks players could take on as well as some more in-depth character development.

The other trailer was much shorter, but focused squarely on Johnny Silverhand, Keanu Reeves' character, as well as a bit more about him as a part of the Cyberpunk 2077 story ahead of his life as, well, a spectre in the game.

Both looks into the game offered some additional color into what to expect out of the latest CD Project RED adventure when it's set to launch. Right now, it's set to come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC with availability on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will also receive free upgrades for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a date further down the line.

Right now, the name of the game is patience as we wait for the final few weeks to pass until we can get our hands on what might be the most hotly-anticipated game of the year. It will certainly be an interesting way to finish out 2020, that's for sure.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Cyberpunk 2077 trophies.
