God of War: Ragnarok might not be a PS5 exclusive

By Brittany Vincent,
It appears that God of War Ragnarok may not be a PS5 exclusive after all. As a matter of fact, it could even come to PS4, if recent comments by this higher-ups at Sony are any indication.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan was asked about whether God of War Ragnarok would indeed be a PS5 exclusive.

"Sorry, I've got nothing to say about that today," was Ryan's response. While it wasn't a flat-out negative answer, it has of course sparked speculation.

The game is set to debut in 2021, and ever since we learned of its existence, players have been wondering whether it will be built from the ground-up for PlayStation 5 or whether it will also launch on PS4. Given that it was announced during the September PS5, many have speculated that Sony Santa Monica would only be bringing it to the next-gen system.

Right now it's unclear whether it's going to be one of Sony's biggest PlayStation 5 exclusives, or even how long the developer has been working on the game. We first heard from Cory Barlog that "Ragnarok is coming" over a year ago, so the game could have been in production much longer than we think.

Of course, there's been no official confirmation from any party just yet to suggest that the game may no longer be an exclusive. It's still a good idea to keep it in mind as a possibility, however.
