Resident Evil Village's updated store page confirms PS5 features

By Brittany Vincent,
When Resident Evil Village hits PlayStation 5, it will be bringing a series of special features to the system with it.

A new PlayStation Store page went up, lining out what players can expect when playing Resident Evil Village on the next-gen console.

The game will indeed feature 4K visuals with Ray Tracing, as many other PS5 titles have been confirmed to include. It will also include fast loading capabilities, which will let you pick up just about in the exact place you left off before without having to wait for any load times.

The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller will get a part of the action as well. Its adaptive triggers will be a part of the game as you can feel the weight of a weapon and the tension of pulling their triggers as you would in other PS5 titles. You'll get the same kind of haptic feedback of firing a gun as you would in real life as well, thanks to the controller.

Finally, compatible headsets will work with Tempest 3D AudioTech, which lets you become fully immersed within the creepy sounds of Resident Evil Village by way of 3D Audio. Given that the game should be appropriately fear-inducing, this should be an exciting way to play the game.

Resident Evil Village is currently set to debut on PlayStation 5 in 2021. There's no current concrete day on which to expect it, but it's looking creepier and creepier each time we see it.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Resident Evil Village trophies.
