By Sean Carey,
Servers in both Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition are set to close on December 31st. This means several online features will no longer be accessible after the closure date, and one trophy from each version of the game will be discontinued.

The PlayStation Store listing for the Game of the Year Edition has been updated explaining which features will no longer be available after the December 31st, 2020. The Nemesis Forge will be shutting, meaning players cannot transfer their in-game Nemeses over to Shadow of War, Vendetta missions and Leaderboard functionality will be removed, and WBPlay will no longer be available, but "the epic runes "Orc Hunter" and "Gravewalker" will automatically be awarded to all players."

What matters to trophy hunters here are the Vendetta missions. The bronze Repaid in Blood trophy, features in both versions of the game and requires players to complete a Vendetta mission. It's not the hardest trophy in the world to unlock, but you'll still need to do pop it before it becomes discontinued at the end of the year. The standard edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has been delisted from the PlayStation Store, so you'll need to find a physical copy if you want to complete that version unless you already own it.
