Ghost of Tsushima: Legends gets The Tale of Iyo Raid next week

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is out now, and according to Sucker Punch, over two million matches were played in the first weekend alone. Now, the devs have detailed plans for what's to come in the future, including weekly challenges and the Raid — which you'll be able to play next week.

Ghost of Tsushima

First up, every Friday at 8am PT there will be weekly challenges with a new two-player story mission and four-player survival mission featuring "specific weekly modifiers," and set at Nightmare difficulty. Whichever team scores the highest will have a place on the weekly leaderboards, and Sucker Punch says the gear you earn from completing the missions and any bonus objectives will help to set you up for Raids.

The first Raid, the Tale of Iyo, begins next Friday, on October 30th. It's set in Iyo's realm and is the end of the story of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It will be split into three chapters, and Sucker Punch says you'll need a team of four to complete it — however, the Raid doesn't support matchmaking, so you'll need to plan your team first. To be fully ready for this Raid, the devs recommend your gear is at KI level 100 at least, and that you've finished the story, and gone back and replayed the story and survival missions on higher difficulty settings.

The Tale of Iyo launches on October 30th.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
