Poll: What PS5 UI feature are you most excited for?

By Sean Carey,
Sony recently unveiled the PlayStation 5's user interface in a new video. It all looks fresh and clean, and we got our first look at some of the exciting new features included with the OS, such as the new Game Help option and Activity Cards.

Activity Cards can be accessed from the PS5's control centre, which is just a PlayStation button tap away. With these cards, players can see how far along they are in a level and what objectives they need to finish off to complete the level. Not only does the Card tell you how much of the level you've completed in percentage, but the PS5 will also give you a personalised estimate on how long it thinks you'll take to finish that level. Activity Cards can also be used to jump into a specific part of a game.

The Game Help option is very interesting. It's only available to PS Subscribers in select PS5 games, but Game Help offers the player hints to the level objective they might be stuck with. In the video embedded above, the player selects a Game Help video that shows them where an objective is located. The video is then displayed picture-in-picture on the screen and can be followed by the player. This could be a boon for trophy hunters, as it might save having to look up a guide or a YouTube video.

The new Screen Share option for parties could also help out trophy hunters. You or a friend can stream directly to one another the game you're playing, and it can be displayed in picture-in-picture mode. If you're both hunting a trophy together, you could see exactly what your friend had to do to meet the requirements of that trophy in real-time.

The keen-eyed among you may have noticed at around 3:30 in the video, there are two trophies with progress that's being tracked. Although Sony didn't touch on the feature, this now looks to be confirmed with the PS5. There was also a couple of other features mentioned but didn't really get a showing — a newly integrated PlayStation Store, which is no longer an app being one.

With all of these great features coming with the PS5 we want to know: what PS5 UI feature are you most excited for? Let us know by voting in our poll and sharing your reasons why in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
