Pre-ordering Spider-Man Miles Morales gets you two suits, a gadget and skill points

Pre-ordering Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales gets you some bonus content, including two suits, a gadget, and three extra skill points. Luckily, you should also be able to unlock those suits in-game without pre-ordering.

pre-order content

The T.R.A.C.K. Suit and a second mystery Spidey Suit are both available as part of the game's pre-order content, along with three extra skill points and the Gravity Well gadget, but Insomniac Games responded to fans asking about whether the suits were pre-order exclusives to say they are "early unlocks," and that "the content is all unlockable in the game. The bonus just gives you a head start."

Insomniac also reiterated that there will be a free upgrade path to PS5 for Miles Morales, but don't forget that the PS5 remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man is not available as a free next-gen upgrade — you'd need to purchase it separately with the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales, or pay to unlock the remaster if you've bought the base version. There's a fair bit included in the remaster such as all three DLC packs, updated assets, ray-tracing, a new photo mode, three new suits, and new trophies.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales launches for PS5 on either November 12th or November 19th depending on region.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
