Ghost of Tsushima's Digital Deluxe upgrade brings new cosmetics & a director's commentary

By Heidi Nicholas,
The Digital Deluxe content for Ghost of Tsushima is now available for all players to purchase as a separate upgrade, adding armour and horse cosmetics, a technique point, a charm, a PS4 theme and a director's commentary.

The Digital Deluxe upgrade is available at £8.99/$10.99, and includes a technique point, the Charm of Hachiman’s Favor, the Hero of Tsushima Skin Set — with the Golden Mask, Body Armor, Sword Kit, the Horse, and the Saddle — Dark Horse's Digital Mini Art Book, the Ghost of Tsushima Samurai PS4 theme, and a 45 minute Director's Commentary where "the creative team sits down with a renowned Japanese historian to look at the world of Ghost of Tsushima and how it compares to the real-life events that inspired it." The video above is a short preview of the type of content in that commentary.

Ghost of Tsushima has launched to some pretty spectacular reviews, and was followed up with some player stats which showed that in the first ten days alone, players petted over 8 million foxes, took part in over 57 million duels, and spent over 800 years on horseback. The game has had its first update with a patch that adds a new "Lethal" difficulty setting, and players are now hoping for news of a New Game Plus option, or details of an upcoming DLC. What are you hoping to see with Ghost of Tsushima? Let us know in the comments!

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
