World War Z finally gets PS4 crossplay support this week

By Sean Carey,
World War Z is finally getting PS4 crossplay. As of July 22nd, PS4 players will be able to team up with their friends who play on Xbox One and PC.

Xbox One and PC players have already been able to play together since an update came to the game back in March. The Dronemaster Update adds a new Dronemaster class, and also brings with it a new player reporting system along with a code of conduct. Players will soon be able to report others who have violated the game's new code of conduct. Players that break the rules will face several lengthy bans before being banned from World War Z's online permanently. You can view the game's code of conduct and all of the changes over on the Focus forums.

The Dronemaster Update with PS4 crossplay arrives on July 22nd.

Hey everyone! I'm Sean. I have been writing gaming content for various outlets over the past few years while studying a degree in Journalism. I grew up on everything PlayStation — mainly Metal Gear Solid, with a brief foray into the world of Xbox. Nowadays, you'll find me mainly playing multiplayer PC games such as Mordhau, but with the recent addition of the Xbox Games Pass for PC, I'm looking forward to improving my TA Score and completion percentage!
