Neil Druckmann heartbroken over The Last of Us Part 2 leaks

A video that contains major plot spoilers for the upcoming The Last of Us Part II has been uploaded online and is currently doing the rounds on various websites. Now, both Naughty Dog and the game's creative director, Neil Druckmann, have commented on the leaks.

Naughty Dog tweeted that it was disappointed to see pre-release gameplay footage uploaded and shared online. The developer asked fans to try and avoid spoilers, and refrain from spoiling the game for others. "The Last of Us Part II will be in your hands soon. No matter what you see and hear, the final experience will be worth it," the tweet continues.

The game's creative director, Neil Druckmann, followed up in another tweet saying that he was heartbroken for both the team and fans, but he was still excited to get the game released and into the hands of players.

Earlier this month, The Last of Us Part II was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now PlayStation has announced a new release date for the sequel. The Last of Us Part II will launch on June 19th.
