The Final Fantasy VII Remake gets its final trailer

By Heidi Nicholas,
The final trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake is here, a week ahead of the game's release date on April 10th. We've included the trailer below, but be careful about whether you want to watch it — it seems there's a lot of possible spoilers involved.

There's just one week left to go before the Final Fantasy VII Remake releases. With all the delays happening recently, such as The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR being pushed back, it's understandable that fans might be concerned about the release of another of 2020's biggest PlayStation titles. Yet the developers have been careful to reassure fans that the release is going ahead as planned, and the game even shipped early for those in Europe and Australia.

If you're yet to decide on purchasing the game, the free demo is still available on the PlayStation Store. The devs have also shared a lot of detail about what to expect: such as how they've reworked the battle system, and added more detail to Midgar. The Final Fantasy VII Remake releases next week on April 10th.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
