Renown boost for Rainbow Six Siege players on PS4 this weekend

By Sean Carey,
Over the weekend, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege suffered some server issues, and the game was taken offline. To make up for it, the Siege team is giving PC and PS4 players a three day 50% Renown boost.

On Sunday, Siege players on both PS4 and PC were reporting numerous connectivity issues with most not being able to get online. Ubisoft then took the servers offline completely to perform some emergency maintenance. For that inconvenience, Ubisoft is giving all Siege players on those platforms three days of boosted Renown. From March 20th, 9 AM ET through to March 23rd 9 AM ET players will be given a 50% boost on any Renown earned. Renown is an in-game currency that can be earned through gameplay and spent on items such as Operators and attachments as well as cosmetics.

This three days of Renown boost should help you unlock the Collector trophy if you haven't already done so. The Collector trophy requires you to earn 5000 Renown.
