The Division 2 is $2.99 on PS Store ahead of Warlords of New York expansion

If you've been waiting to pick up Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on the cheap, now is the time to do so. The third-person shooter is currently on sale on the PS Store for just $3 ahead of its newly announced major expansion, Warlords of New York.

The third free episode for The Division 2, Coney Island: The Hunt released today for Year 1 pass owners (All Division 2 owners can access the content on February 19.) It serves as a prologue to the new expansion that is set to release on March 3 and brings with it two new trophies.

The game is set to go under several radical changes when the new expansion launches including changes to Dark Zones, a new streamlined loot system and the introduction of Seasons that adds regular three month long events, similar to that found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

In the US, the game is currently on sale on the PS Store for $2.99. Those in the UK will have to pay a bit more at £8.99.
