Bluepoint Games Once Again Teases the Internet with Another Cryptic Tweet

By Sean Carey,
On Halloween this year, Bluepoint Games sent out a cryptic tweet that had the internet swirling with rumours and theories. Now the developer has done it again with another strange tweet that is possibly hinting at something to do with the Sega Genesis or a Demon's Souls remake? We don't know; it's all a bit vague and confusing.

The tweet reads: "To classics we play. Our blood, sweat, tears give thanks! To family & fans, eager you stay. Cheers rekindle flames - thanks! Today feast, tomorrow rest. Soon the beast freed from jest. Temptation we shun. Then onto the next. We reset to further adorn the genesis. An era reborn."

The new tweet was sent out yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving in the US, and could be hinting at something retro, "to classics we play... we reset to further adorn the genesis, an era reborn." Another strong theory is that this tweet is about a possible remaster of the PlayStation exclusive Demon's Souls. This remake has been firmly in the rumour mill for some time, and the latest tweet definitely stokes that fire.

The Halloween tweet was even more cryptic with potential references to Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter, Castlevania and again, Demon's Souls.

Bluepoint was responsible for the remastering some of the Metal Gear Solid series and produced the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

We do know that Bluepoint is currently working on something for the PS5 — potentially a launch title. Bluepoint's president Marco Thrush said, "We're working on a big one right now. I'll let you figure out the rest."

We're stumped. What do you think all these strange tweets could mean? Let us know your theories in the comments.
