Tomorrow's Gran Turismo Sport Update Adds Five New Cars

Gran Turismo Sport gets a new update tomorrow. Update 1.50 adds five new free cars, including the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo, a purchasable Lewis Hamilton DLC, and seven free GT league rounds.

Seven new GT League Rounds

Beginner League: Two new rounds for The Passion of Dr. Wankel.
Amateur League: Two new rounds for Boxer Spirit.
Professional League: Two new rounds for Vision Gran Turismo Trophy +.
Endurance League: One new round for the X2019 Competition Endurance Series.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will be part of the "Circuit Experience", with new features and improvements to be added with the update.

Lewis Hamilton Time Trial Challenge

The "Lewis Hamilton Time Trial Challenge" is a purchasable DLC. It's a single player mode which will be made available tomorrow on the PS store for $7.99. It challenges players to try to beat the lap times set by the Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. There'll be ten challenges overall:

Autodromo Lago Maggiore - GP
Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit
Willow Springs International Raceway: Big Willow
Suzuka Circuit
Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit
Autódromo de Interlagos
Nürburgring GP
Nürburgring Nordschleife

Completing these events credits, which will be awarded for achieving Bronze or higher. Completing all the challenges rewards players with extra bonus credits. Cars will also be awarded as prizes for challenge achievement levels, and those who complete the hardest conditions will get a "special prize" with a design from Hamilton's "Project 44" team. The DLC allows players to watch replays, and to interact with Hamilton's ghost car. The ghost car can be positioned near the player's location, and some tracks will have a tutorial in which Hamilton gives advice. Driving data will also be available, such as braking points and throttle operations. It'll have "Friend Rankings", as well as the Top 10 Stars' Rankings, for each of the challenges. If you manage to get a Gold or better in all ten of the challenges, you can upgrade the credit limit cap from 20 million to 100 million.

The free update and paid DLC will both be available tomorrow, November 28th.
