Survival horror game Moons of Madness is now available to pre-order

By Heidi Nicholas,
The January 21st 2020 release date for the survival horror game Moons of Madness is creeping up slowly, and the game is now available for pre-order.

Moons of Madness combines scientific concepts with supernatural themes reminiscent of Lovecraft. The player is Shane Newehart, a technician at the Invictus research outpost on Mars. Newehart has been instructed to maintain the base until the transport ship arrives with a new team. As the beginning of the trailer shows, he seems pretty confident and comfortable in his job, and completely unaware of the fact that the Invictus research post is really there to investigate a signal from Mars. A signal which apparently originated from an intelligent source. Then Newehart begins to see and hear things that can't possibly be there, and it's up to the player to discover what's really going on on Mars. The game costs $29.99 ($26.99 for PS Plus members) and those who pre-order receive The Park, a "a psychological horror experience set in a creepy amusement park."

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
