You wouldn't think a game that's played out entirely in an office building would be deserving of a photo mode, but if you've played Control, you'll know that with its use of wide-open spaces, clever use of light and brutalist architecture, Control is stunning.

Control E3 screens

Fans have been requesting a photo mode since the game's launch, and now Remedy is bringing the feature to Control in its latest update — available today.

Once downloaded, Photo Mode can be accessed through the Options Menu. There you'll find all the usual stuff to take snapshots from the game.

Photo Mode is only a small part of the content that Remedy has planned for Control. A new free game mode called Expeditions is coming in December, where Jesse will need to help Chief Arish explore the Formation and complete objectives within a set time frame to get unique and powerful rewards.

Two paid expansions, The Foundation and AWE are coming in 2020.

Hey everyone! I'm Sean. I have been writing gaming content for various outlets over the past few years while studying a degree in Journalism. I grew up on everything PlayStation — mainly Metal Gear Solid, with a brief foray into the world of Xbox. Nowadays, you'll find me mainly playing multiplayer PC games such as Mordhau, but with the recent addition of the Xbox Games Pass for PC, I'm looking forward to improving my TA Score and completion percentage!
