Sony Removes Facebook Integration from PS4

By Sean Carey,
Facebook integration is no longer supported on PlayStation 4 consoles, which means you'll no longer be able to find and add Facebook friends, share gameplay videos, screenshots and trophy activity or use your Facebook profile picture as your PSN avatar.

On the PlayStation Support Forums Sony said: "We apologize for any inconvenience." PlayStation 4's share features will stay the same apart from Facebook being offered as a destination to share things.

A spokesperson from Facebook spoke to Kotaku and provided this statement: “We’re working with Sony to finalize an updated contract designed to improve the Facebook integration on PlayStation. While these discussions are in progress, Facebook features will not be available on PlayStation 4. We hope to bring these features back as soon as our teams reach agreement.”

Hopefully, the ability to share things to Facebook will be re-enabled soon.
