Death Stranding Has Gone Gold

By Heidi Nicholas,
DEATH STRANDING has officially gone gold, as Kojima Productions announce the news on Twitter. This means that the game is now complete and finished, and ready to mass produce. Kojima Productions expressed their gratitude on Twitter:

This announcement comes alongside the news that players won't need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play Death Stranding's multiplayer mode. This was spotted by mp1st, who shared a photo of a package shot of the Limited Edition PS4 Pro version, which reads that "DEATH STRANDING does not require PlayStation Plus subscription."

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
