Period.”- Nerdist“A spectacular adventure.”- IGNThis isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of Marvel’s New York rest upon his shoulders.1 player Software subject to license ( Online features require an account and are subject to terms of service and applicable privacy policy ( & One-time license fee for play on account’s designated primary PS4™ system and other PS4™ systems when signed in with that account.© 2019 MARVEL© 2019 Sony Interactive Entertainment LLCDeveloped by Insomniac Games, Inc.

The City That Never Sleeps was a three-episode DLC arc taking place after the events of the main game, exploring Spidey's relationships with Black Cat, Silver Sable and Yuri Watanabe and introducing classic Spider-Man villain Hammerhead.

The GOTY edition will only set players back $39.99 in the US — not bad for a new digital release — and it has also appeared in Europe and Australia.

Given that Insomniac have now joined the Sony Interactive Entertainment family officially, and Sony have controversially ended their partnership with Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe, we doubt this Game of the Year Edition is the last we'll hear from the Californian developer's take on the classic super hero.

We've got the full list of Marvel's Spider-Man trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
