Beat Saber Patch Fixes Latency Issues

By Rebecca Smith,
A couple of weeks ago, the Imagine Dragons Music Pack was released for Beat Saber. Alongside the pack came a game update that made changes to the game's scoring and user interface, amongst other things. Unfortunately, it also accidentally altered how the floor position worked, causing latency and tracking issues. A hotfix has now been released that goes some way towards fixing those issues.

The hotfix has indeed fixed the majority of the game's issues. Using my original floor, player height, and audio latency settings, I'm now getting scores consistent with those gained before the update and any missed blocks are generally my fault. If you adjusted any of those settings in between the update and the hotfix, make sure you return them to your preferred values to get the best out of the game.

The hotfix, which brings the game to build 1.13, is available now.
