Judgment Now Available on PlayStation 4

The road to release in the west has not been smooth for Judgment. After one of the actors was arrested in Japan, developer Ryu Ga Gotoku set about replacing his likeness and voice within the game. They managed to do this without any delays, and the game has been released on PlayStation 4 in the west today as scheduled.

The game tells the story of "ex-defense-attorney-turned-private-detective" Takayuki Yagami, who is trying to solve a murder in Kamurocho. Players will need to look for collect evidence and catch the culprits, but as you can imagine in a game from the studio that's responsible for the Yakuza franchise, it will involve some Yakuza-style beat downs. Players will be able to mix and match combat styles with skills, weapons, and EX Actions to add variety as they look for the culprit.
