Shenmue 3 Has Been Delayed... Again By Sam Quirke, 04 Jun 2019 CommentsYou've waited for Shenmue III for 18 years. Surely you can wait a little longer? That's what Yu Suzuki is betting on, as the game has been pushed back to the end of the year to make final "refinements". As stated in the latest Kickstarter update, Yu Suzuki claims the game is "almost ready" but that the extra development time will allow the team to deliver the "true Shenmue experience" players deserve. While previously slated for a August 27th 2019 release date, Shenmue III will now release on November 19th 2019, putting it directly in the path of Death Stranding which releases just over a week earlier.
